Colad offers a complete range of gloves, suitable for all steps in the paint process. We categorize three types of gloves for different steps in the paint process: 1. Preparation: For disassembly, assembly and preparation we provide you with the Colad Polyester Preparation Gloves. Colad Preparation Gloves offers protection against mechanical risks. The EN 388:2016 test indicates the abrasion, blade cut, tear and puncture resistance. 2. Painting: Colad disposable nitrile gloves are especially developed for use during the paint process, offering comfort and protection for the user and protection against paint contamination. 3. Cleaning: For cleaning with various chemicals, Colad advises to use their Industrial Nitrile or Neoprene gloves. These Gloves are fitted with a soft, anti-allergic liner that prevents allergies and strengthens the gloves. Both Colad gloves are tested according to EN 374-1-:2016 (type B chemical resistance), EN 374-4:2013 (degradation) and EN 374-5:2016 (bacteria and virus) which means they are leak-proof, protect against mechanical risks and chemical dipping (full contact).
Care and maintenance: Both new and used gloves should be thoroughly inspected before use to ensure their integrity. The performance characteristics of worn and laundered gloves may vary from those of new gloves. Store the gloves in a suitable, clean and well-ventilated place, away from direct sunlight. Dispose of gloves and packaging in accordance with local regulations, taking into account recycling of materials as applicable. Ageing of PPE: The design performance of the gloves will not be significantly affected by ageing as long as they are stored under appropriate conditions with regard to humidity, temperature, cleanliness , ventilation and exposure to light. Not suitable for use in welding and grinding.
Colad Polyester Preparation Gloves protect the hands against mechanical hazards and are especially suitable for use during panel beating, dismantling, sanding and reassembly work in vehicle repair processes. The polyester material in combination with the polyurethane coating applied to the fingers and palm provides optimal grip, while preserving sensitivity in the fingertips. The reinforced fingertips provide three times greater abrasion resistance than standard polyurethane gloves. Due to the flexible material and improved fit, the gloves are comfortable and enable a large range of motion. The upper structure of the gloves is open to provide sufficient ventilation and reduce transpiration.
